I am headed to Canada for Christmas. My husband and I will be visitng our son and daughter in law plus the 2 yr old grandchild AND Our brand new granddaughter!!! Life is sweet. I am so thankful that my daughter will be checking in on my parents so we can make this trip. Family is Love. While I will miss the 5 grands here, we will be having our Christmas with them as soon as we get back. Family is Love!
Please take a breath and think of your family and be thankful for being blessed. We all have someone or something to be thankful for during this Christmas Season. Jesus is the reason for this season and me and my family will be making note of that reason as we celebrate the love of Family.

JUST DO IT!

TEEN IS ACNE FREE!!!!!

Persist in your efforts. Make all of your work count for something by seeing it through to the finish.
Be thankful for the challenges and enjoy working through them. For they are where the real value is created.
Connect your goal to a meaningful purpose. When you're clear about why, you'll surely be able to take care of how.
Every frustration, every dissatisfaction you feel is really an urge to achieve. Follow those urges all the way through, and make the positive difference that is your destiny.

TIP #19 - IN A RECRUITING SLUMP? GRAB A LADDER.
I hope you are having an awesome, fantastic, amazing day!Remember that no matter how bad anything might seem in your life there are always people who are far less fortunate than you. Always count your blessings!
If your success in network marketing is not coming at the pace you hoped, remember one thing. The only way you can fail in this industry is if you give up. Every day you are growing and learning and discovering the leader in you.
With all the hype and craziness in this industry we often forget the power of what can happen in a 5 year period. So many people are so focused on making something happen overnight that they lose their momentum when it doesn't happen fast enough for you. I have some good news for you that just might help you to see the bigger picture here and realize the opportunity at hand!
Someone took the time to show me this and it changed my whole mindset. Let's call this the 5 year plan...
I want you to think about working for yourself...you have 1 person responsible for your income and there is no leverage in that.
Let's say that after a year in MLM you show a bunch of people your opportunity and only 5 people really get it. Now at the end of one year you have 5 people responsible for your income rather than just 1! Let's say those 5 go on to find 5 that "get it" by the end of the 2nd year..you now have 25 people responsible for your
income.Let's continue this over a 5 year period and see what happens..see the diagram below
Years Working for yourself Building an MLM business...Number of people responsible for your income if you just get 5 people the 1st year and those people get 5, etc, so on and so on:
1... 5
2 ... 25
3... 125
4... 625
5.... 3125 people responsible for your income!!!!
So after 5 years you would have over 3,000 people responsible for your income rather than 1 person! This can easily mean a residual income of $15,000 a month which will keep coming in even if you go sit on
the beach! Not a bad deal considering most people will still have 1person responsible for their income after 5 years.

60 DAYS - MY NAKED FACE
The picture entitled My Naked Face shows me 60 days using the Rodan and Fields regimens with ONLY peptide powder on my face (in fact if you look real close you can see that I didn't apply it very well. I will do better next time) with some mascara. Look at the beginning photo and then compare. It is so nice to just wear the peptide powder. 60 DAYS - SKIN SCARE TO SKIN CARE
Now let's not be critical. Yes, I still have spots - all kinds of spots. But, give me a break - scroll down to see my face at the beginning of all this new skin scare - that's right - skin scare. My face was a mess - then I started Skin Care with Rodan and Fields products. REVERSE AND UNBLEMISH with a little SOOTHE now and then. Yes, I have a long ways to go, but like I said in an earlier post - I have years of sun damage to REVERSE (sorry, had to throw in a little pitch there for one of my products).

TIP #18 - HOW TO BE A GOOD FACEBOOK SOCIAL NETWORKER
These notes are taken from a webinar presented by Doug Firebaugh - a genius in networking with a few of my own thrown in. Face it, whether you are in business or not, you network. Getting together with your friends for coffee, a drink, to shop, to shoot pool or watch a football game, are all examples of networking. Do you ever tell your friends about a great movie, a restaurant that opened, sales somewhere? This is network marketing at its best - giving a personal referral about something. So, here we go - How to be a Good Facebook Social Networker - basically - how to be a good friend on facebook.
I have to confess and give credit where credit is due. My daughter, Shannon Rudderham Kemp, taught me how to get on Facebook and was very patient with me while I learned the difference between a Wall, Home, Message, Share, Link, privacy, etc etc. I still ask her things. Since then I have grabbed onto FB and now could almost be called a nerd. Yet, I feel like I am still on the edge of what there is to learn about communicating thru social networking... globally. Our world is changing fast - get with the changes or be left with your pencil and eraser and stamps. Off the soapbox and onto today's post.
1. Go on Facebook daily - what kind of friend are you if you don't talk with your friends.
2. Study your Home Page - comment on everything, look at your requests and act on them.
Click between Status Updates and News Feeds - News Feeds happen more often than Status Updates.
3. Your Profile - click on this and then on WALL. Look at all the comments and what your friends have done - comment on your friends activity and comments.
4. Look for New Friends - look at your current friends list of friends - add some you know or want to know. Go to the Search box in the upper right and put in someone's name. And, answer your Friend Requests and then thank them for "friending" you.
5. Join Groups. Same Search box - put in something you are interested in and then click on a few - find some groups to join. This is a great way to make new friends.
6. Your Personal Info - add to it, write stuff, add pictures. Face it - we are on Facebook to be seen, tell about ourselves, to learn about others. It is a fabulous social medium.
7. Watch what you say. So many people use FB to air their differences, comment negatively on things, and even tear someone else down. C'mon people, we are all adults. This world has enough places for all that petty stuff. Help keep FaceBook a fun interesting and learning place. If you need to send a message to someone - privately - click under their picture on Send a Message. It goes to their inbox. What you send and what they reply thru the inbox is Private just between the two of you.

TIP #17 - SOCIAL NETWORKING ON FACEBOOK
I listened to a webinar hosted by Doug Firebaugh - a genius with social networking.(passionfire.com) The next few posts will be a summary of what I learned. He currently is maxed on the number of friends he can have on Facebook, but google him to see what he has to offer. Hopefully, this will help some of you in your business - or maybe you will want to be a part of my team on Rodan and Fields. Yep - had to get that little commercial in. LOL.
First you must remember that in Network Marketing - the work networking comes BEFORE Marketing. In previous posts you can find some notes about getting to know people before you pitch them. In Social Networking, please please remember social networking is all about getting to know each other. Whether you ever "pitch" your FB friends or not, they all have value and they all are part of your new social nework.
There are currently over 200 million users on Facebook - worldwide. Our accounts are capped at 5,000 friends. This is a huge pool of people. Your account may be capped at 5,000, but multiply that by all your friends and you can see that you have joined a very large social network!
The secret to recruiting on FB is to NOT recruit. Say what? That's right. FB is about relationship building. Find new friends and let them help you in whatever way is most comfortable for them. And the reverse is important as well - help your friends. If they are in business for themselves, promote their business. You never know when you need a good plumber, handyman, photographer (hint hint - that's ME!), car repair, or even interact to find a good restaurant or boutique. Help your friends. They will in turn help you. Look for helpers.
Personally, I have found some new friends on FB and have been able to reconnect with some old friends. Connect with people on FB. Look at their profile - it was put there as a window to their soul. Converse with your friends. Don't only post a business commercial (more on that in another post), but be interested in them.
Be a friend they value. Look at how you can pour into their lives and change their lives with your friendship.

As you go through each day, your mind is filled with all sorts of things that you're thinking and saying to yourself. Choose to regularly quiet those thoughts, to just listen, to look, to pay attention. Pay attention and you'll discover incredible opportunities in even the most mundane circumstances.

TIP #15 - APPLAUSE PLEASE
Any endeavor may be tough in the beginning. Accept this. You must believe in yourself. Initially, critics may feel free to ridicule your ideas and goals as foolish and unrealistic. When you ultimately succeed, everyone will claim to have been on your team from the beginning. Take action and persist. Applaud those who try, because the first step is often the toughest. Applaud the newcomer.
Yes, this is probably one of my shortest posts, but a much needed one. If you are in network marketing, you know the value of prospecting and then signing someone onto your team. This new consultant is a newbie and starting any endeavor is hard. They need your help, guidance, mentoring and support. Help them persist. This past week has been one of those week's where life just got in the way of living. Ever had one of those weeks? Death, Disappointment, Joy, Frustration, Success - all in one week - way way too much to deal with. However, how fabulous that I work in network marketing! What you can do, however, is make full use of it. What you can do is make something of lasting value out of the fleeting moments of this day.
Yes, you could choose to put forth the very minimum effort required to simply make it through the day. Yet all that will do is take you to tomorrow, where the only thing you'll have to show for it is the need to make it through still another day.
Instead, use this day to grow, to learn, to act and move and build and accomplish. Rather than seeking to merely make it through, choose to truly make it count for something great.
Time is already moving steadily ahead. Make the decision, right now, to move ahead with it.
Make full and joyous use of the unique moment in time where you now find yourself. You've been given the valuable gift of this day, so step forward and claim its special treasures.

46 DAYS - MY NAKED FACE
If nothing else, this company is bringing back the bold Judith I used to know! It is taking more guts than you know to show my face - naked - no concealers, no foundation -just some eye makeup and lip glass. I know, I know, "you should wear concealers and foundation!". But, the point is - look down the blog - scroll way down and look at some of the beginning shots. My skin was a real mess. I spend real money on make up to even go to the grocery store!!! Now, based on what I had and what I have now, I am ok with going out in public with this naked face. I have been using the products for 46 days and the changes in those 46 days are noticeable. Just imagine what another 15 days will bring to this old skin! That's when I will be finished with the 60 days regimen of Reverse. MICRO DERMABRASION WITH A LASER - EEKS!
I just now passed the TV downstairs and The Dr's show was on with a noted Dermatologist (not Dr. Rodan or Dr. Fields). They had a lady on the table on her stomach and the Dr. was holding the laser. They had just finished giving her two shoulder blades a treatment. The skin looked like someone had taken sandpaper and rubbed the skin until it was abrased. Egads, the thought. SOMETIMES WE JUST NEED A LITTLE LEVITY

It turned out that a little green garden grass snake was hidden in one of the plants and when it had warmed up, it slithered out and the wife saw it go under the sofa.
She let out a very loud scream! The husband (who was taking a shower) ran out into the living room naked to see what the problem was She told him there was a snake under the sofa.
He got down on the floor on his hands and knees to look for it. About that time the family dog came and cold-nosed him on the behind. He thought the snake had bitten him, so he screamed and fell over on the floor.
His wife thought he had a heart attack, so she covered him up, told him to lie still and called an ambulance. The attendants rushed in, wouldn't listen to his protests and loaded him on the stretcher and started carrying him out.
About that time the snake came out from under the sofa and the Emergency Medical Technician saw it and dropped his end of the stretcher. That's when the man broke his leg and why he is still in the hospital.
The wife still had the problem of the snake in the house, so she called on a neighbor. He volunteered to capture the snake. He armed himself with a rolled-up newspaper and began poking under the couch. Soon he decided it was gone and told the woman, who sat down on the sofa in relief. But while relaxing, her hand dangled in between the cushions, where she felt the snake wriggling around. She screamed and fainted, the snake rushed back under the sofa. The neighbor man, seeing her lying there passed out, tried to use CPR to revive her.
The neighbor's wife, who had just returned from shopping at the grocery store, saw her husband's mouth on the woman's mouth and slammed her husband in the back of the head with a bag of canned goods, knocking him out and cutting his scalp to a point where it needed stitches.
The noise woke the woman from her dead faint and she saw her neighbor lying on the floor with his wife bending over him, so she assumed that he had been bitten by the snake. She went to the kitchen and got a small bottle of whiskey, and began pouring it down the man's throat.
By now the police had arrived. They saw the unconscious man, smelled the whiskey, and assumed that a drunken fight had occurred. They were about to arrest them all, when the women tried to explain how it all happened over a little green snake.
The police called an ambulance, which took away the neighbor and his sobbing wife. The little snake again crawled out from under the sofa. One of the policemen drew his gun and fired at it.

The other policeman tried to beat out the flames, and fell through the window into the yard on top of the family dog who, startled, jumped out and raced into the street, where an oncoming car swerved to avoid it and smashed into the parked police car.
Meanwhile, the burning drapes were seen by the neighbors who called the fire department. The firemen had started raising the fire truck ladder when they were halfway down the street. The rising ladder tore out the overhead wires and put out the electricity and disconnected the telephones in a ten-square city block area (but they did get the house fire out).
Time passed! Both men were discharged from the hospital, the house was repaired, the dog came home, the police acquired a new car, and all was right with their world.
A while later they were watching TV and the weatherman announced a cold snap for that night. The wife asked her husband if he thought they should bring in their plants for the night. That's when he shot her.

TIP #12 - 12 STRATEGIES FROM BEACH MONEY
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends and family. When I lived in Canada, I always thought it more sensible to have Thanksgiving in October. You get to share the orange colors and pumpkins with Halloween AND you have one month rest before Christmas!
BEACH MONEY by Jordan Adler is a very good read for the network marketer. Here are his 12 strategies for success - did you notice how the 12 strategies and my Tip #12 coincided? Pretty good, ;eh?

TIP #11 - CONFIDENCE CONVICTION AND CONDOLENCES
We've talked about the correct posturing as a professional network marketer, but I wonder how many of you really try out what you read? It is so easy to tell someone how to approach a prospect, but it is something else entirely to really do it. The fear of rejection is huge. It starts when we are kids or teens and don't want to be turned down for a date, the dance, use of the car - the list is endless. Growing up is the pits.
I was a preacher's kid, so I know the fear of not even being asked! This fear carries over into adulthood - fear of not being with the in crowd - the list as adults is also endless.
As a professional network marketer, you must overcome this fear and use it to your advantage.
A few tips -
When someone tells you they are not interested or don't have the time - think positive - act positive. Tell them you are really happy they said No to this opportunity. They will look at you funny, and then you can tell them that everything in this world is a game of numbers and percentages. You need a certain amount of people that are not interested before you come across that one person that is your Ace - your leader in training. They have just brought you one step closer. Smile (go ahead - die a little inside), hold your head up and tell them to keep you in mind should they change their mind. Walk away with confidence- don't convince them.
I have made so many mistakes in network marketing. One of the biggest is to keep going back in an email to someone or every time I see them say something about the company, after they have shown no interest. I have learned - don't ever do this. I have personal stories of people not emailing me anymore and avoiding me in public. I am a professional with a credible business investment. I don't have time to waste. Besides, I also broke one of Dani Johnson's cardinal rules - I told them my message before I got interested in THEM.
When someone tells you they are already in Arbonne, Shaklee, Amway, Mandura, Melaleuca (whatever the home based business) and they say they are happy with their company/product - praise their company. Tell them you wish them every success and since they are happy with the money they are making in their present company, you wouldn't want to change anything or convince them to do anything else. In the case of an Arbonne distributor, you can say with conviction what I wrote in an email recently. "I totally understand your wanting to stay with Arbonne. Arbonne is a great company. I wish you continued success with it. Keep me in your back pocket should you ever want to try a different type of skin care product. Actually our companies are somewhat connected. Arbonne's past CEO Robert Henry, left Arbonne (after zooming its growth) to join Rodan and Fields as the Strategic Business Advisor. If he can do for Rodan and Fields what he did for Arbonne, we are in for a wild ride!"
Always stay professional, walk and talk with confidence in your company, speak from the conviction that you know these products work and this business model makes money.
Wear your name badge everywhere. This past week I had two ladies come up to me because of my name badge. One was in a coffee shop. She asked if I had an office in Spring Hill. I didn't say NO - rather I said (while pointing to my badge) the doctors have their offices in California. I work as a consultant for them and send clients to our website for products that work. I then said that I was using the product (told my story about my brown spots being a work in progress) myself and love the look and feel of my skin. I gave her my card and told her to contact me about saving 10% with free shipping.
Another lady saw me at Touch a Truck over the weekend and asked if I had a booth here or was I just wearing my badge? I said I was just wearing my badge. She quickly continued - she had used ProActiv and a friend was trying one of the new products. She was using L'Oreal right now but after 3 weeks it was doing nothing and she didn't like it. I asked her if she was going to send back the used bottles to the company for a refund? She looked at me like I was nuts. This was my "in" - I told her our products had a 100% guarantee - gave her my card and told her she needed to give it a try.
One of these days I am going to have the Confidence and Conviction to walk up to someone and say - You have my condolences. They will ask why and I will say - your skin care products are obviously not working well for you? Pointing to my name badge I will say that I have something that is guaranteed to work. Watch this blog - one day I will tell you I had the confidence and conviction to do this!

A REAL RESPONSE FROM OUR NURSES
Yesterday I sent an email to the Nurses at Rodan and Fields regarding facial redness that I experience on and off during the day. WOW - how great is that! Not only for my skin, but for my business. What a fabulous business tool to be able to send people to MY STAFF OF NURSES. Once you do this, you will know their S - I -G - N - their Strengths, Interests, Goals, Needs. Then you can help them succeed. This might take a few visits or calls with the person or it might be accomplished in one visit. The main thing to remember is we are a social people and everyone likes to be special. Our two maltese puppies are really active today. Growling with their new found voices, pawing at each other as they try to play, four legs not always moving in the direction intended, and nibbling at our toes with their gums - all too cute. They are 4 weeks old and will soon be available to be adopted.

30 DAYS - CHANGES ARE REALLY HAPPENING!!
I have hit the 30 day mark using RODAN and FIELDS REVERSE and ANTI AGE regimens. Taking this picture this morning made me realize a few things: I should be using a cell phone camera instead of my big expensive Canon and I shouldn't have the guts to post my skin on the web! The only thing I changed on this picture (and the others) is the size. My camera makes it possible to enlarge a shot to wall size! Egads - wouldn't want that! I looked at this picture and said - It makes everything very clear, despite having 3 different lite bulbs in the bathroom, these products are really top of the line! No studio lights to diffuse flaws, no tilting of the camera to show my face at the best angle - just plain naked skin in bathroom light! Yes, I still have spots and lines, but look at my first picture below, you have to admit that my face is changing. Plus, I have skin that has been bathed in the sun for more years than many of you have been alive!!!
My advice for the day? GET STARTED USING THESE PRODUCTS. DON'T WAIT. . .So what if you just spent way too much on another brand. Will the store let you return it after you have used it all up and get all your money back???? Rodan and Fields will, but look at the results. Who would want to return it? I have to start using it on my hands, neck and decollete area. Those pictures won't be so devastating to my ego!! LOL.

I have to be honest with you. I really don't know what a peptide it. I do know that our products have them. I do know that they build up collagen. TIP #7 - BLOWN AWAY WITH BEACH MONEY
Sure am having a hard time kicking this flu crud. Today was a beautiful Fall day in Tennessee, and I did get out to enjoy it for a few minutes. Coffee on the deck this morning, lunch on the deck, then took the kids to get ice cream after school. Do I ever love my business. I can enjoy all this and still work at home. If you haven't read Beach Money by Jordan Adler - YOU MUST. Here is an excerpt:
Your mind in a powerful computer. It controls how you feel, and how you feel determines what you attract. Your mind does not know the difference between what is real and what is not. Your imagination can create and your imagination can destroy. Usually when something is not going exactly the way you want it to, you have created a scenario in your mind that is taking power away from what you say you want. That power is taken away through the bad feelings created by your thoughts. Regardless of whether your thoughts are based on reality or not, your feelings are real and your feelings determine what you attract. MY BAD HABIT
It's Sunday morning and I think, no, I know, I have caught a version of what the rest of the household has been fighting for a month. Despite that, I am hooked on Blogging and writing to whomever might be out there.
I have a really bad habit of not taking off my eye makeup. Oh pleeze - like you take yours off every night! Any men reading this - you have probably woken up next to a lady with raccoon eyes more than once. Personally, I have tried almost every eye makeup remover on the market. I have even made up some of my own - baby oil on a q-tip, lotion on a cotton ball, scrub with soap while keeping my eyes tightly shut and yes, I know the scrubbing is really bad for our delicate eye skin. Most of time, after using whatever kind of eyemakeup remover, I look at the world thru a thin film of oil until I can blink and blink and blink to get it removed. Just not for me. So, I gave up and wake up to raccoon eyes.
THEN - RODAN AND FIELDS ANTI AGE EYE CLOTHS came into my life. They were part of my shipment this week. I used one last night for the first time. OMG!!!! No oil, soft feeling, and the makeup on my eyes came right off. I went to sleep with squeaky clean eyelashes! I woke up with no mascara crust! TIP #6 - HELPFUL INFO ABOUT POSTURING
This is a longer post than normal, but very important if you want to be successful at what you do ( or might consider doing with me.)
Posture is an attitude. A conviction you have in your voice and persona about where you’re going, the company you represent and what kind of a potential is available to you and others. Coming across with posture really boils down to a positive self-esteem and a strong belief in your opportunity and product. That’s it in a nutshell. People may not flock to buy your product and to join your organization or team simply because you ask them to. As a matter of fact, they probably won’t if you simply share your product or opportunity and display no posture.
Here are concepts to apply for success:
Building a productive team of producers is about looking for people to partner with and develop as leaders. Not simply signing people up. The key to finding these potential leaders is in the interviewing process. Professional Networkers sort for quality people; they don’t “sell” people on the opportunity or products.
Perception is reality. People want to be associated with someone who is busy and successful. When you spend a lot of time (hours) with one prospect or potential team member you don’t come across as a successful entrepreneur; instead, you appear as a desperate sales person.

When you prospect behave as a leader should behave. Don’t allow your prospect to take control of the conversation by behaving rudely and making you jump through hoops to convince them to join your business.
Remember, this is your own business and you are sorting for potential partners. Anyone who behaves rudely or is obnoxious would more than likely not be a good partner anyway. Let them go….Next?

People may not flock to buy your product and to join your organization or team simply because you ask them to. As a matter of fact, they probably won’t if you simply share your product or opportunity and display no posture.
Here are concepts to apply for success:
Building a productive team of producers is about looking for people to partner with and develop as leaders. Not simply signing people up. The key to finding these potential leaders is in the interviewing process. Professional Networkers sort for quality people; they don’t “sell” people on the opportunity or products.
Perception is reality. People want to be associated with someone who is busy and successful. When you spend a lot of time (hours) with one prospect or potential team member you don’t come across as a successful entrepreneur; instead, you appear as a desperate sales person.

MY LIPS
I really should have taken a picture of my Lips before I used this product. Besides, I might get more people to read this blog with a picture of my lips instead of that huge picture of my nose!
I use Bare Essentials make up. I totally love the Boost and Pout lip gloss - not sure of the real name, I just know what it looks like when I go to the website and re-order. My lips can be perfect one week and then loose skin just seems to fall off the next week. If you see me in one of those skin sloughing days, you will see me constanting biting and pulling off lip skin with my teeth. I have tried almost every product on the market for lip moisturizing - be it by itself or included in some expensive name brand gloss. TIP #5 - 10 RECRUITING TIPS BEFORE MAKING ANY CALLS
If you are in a referral business or direct sales or any business where you have to make calls - THIS POST IS FOR YOU.
1. Make the Prospect Comfortable. Keep the prospect in a comfortable state of mind. How? YOU must be comfortable with what you are doing, showing no pressure at all in your conversation. Keep it warm and friendly. Keep talking ABOUT THEM, what interests them and what they are looking for. People are comfortable talking about what interests THEM, NOT YOU.
2. Keep the Conversation Focused on the Prospect. The prospect is listening to a radio station. It is VERY important to the prospect. The Radio station is "keep it all about me". You must keep the Network Marketing conversation focused on what they want to see happen in their life, in their future. Focus on them and them only. Continue to ask questions. Keep your focus on THEM.
3. Build Trust. If the prospect does not trust you, then you will not recruit them. You MUST get them to trust you, as this is the cornerstone of recruiting. Come across as "agenda free" with no motives, except to see if your business is something they would want to explore. And, operate in total integrity. If you don't, it will catch up with you. Keep their life in focus, not yours. If you do, your business will become a greater focus to the prospect.
4. Hear the Prospect. Many people listen to a prospect, but few hear the prospect. The prospect will tell you all you need to know to recruit them, if you hear what they are saying. Listening is processing the words. Most recruiters are too busy thinking about what they will say next. "Tell me what you mean by that" or "that was interesting" or Tell me what you are looking for in life" are good statements for hearing. Those that listen with their ears have shallow listening. Those that listen with their heart and to the emotions have successful listening.

LOOKING IN THE MIRROR - WHICH ONE TO USE?
After 30 days in my new career as an Independent Executive (wahoo - got a promotion) Consultant, I have a ROI (return on investment) plus profit. I have tried so many different at home businesses that my friends and family shy away from me when they see "that look" - and they think "Oh no, here she goes again". THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT. I am actually making money - and more than coffee money! Last week when I paid for my groceries with cash (a new concept in itself), the lady saw my name badge and asked what it was - she said she had heard about Rodan and Fields from someone. I gave her my business card and while smiling said that I was paying for my groceries with my Rodan and Fields bonus money. Her eyes got wide. Unfortunately, the customer behind me had wide eyes for a total different reason. I could see the lady behind me didn't want my card, so I just smiled and left. It was a good feeling knowing my groceries had been paid for by my new career - not a job.
OK - back on topic. Rodan and Fields makes 4 different skin care regimens, and as this morning I have tried them all! I started using the products just using REVERSE (for my brown spots) and ANTI AGE (for my experience lines). Then, as we all know from the "nose" picture, I added UNBLEMISH to my arsenal of skin care. I read that it also does a job on brown spots, so I LOVE this product. I have redness on my face from the sun damage, so SOOTHE was added. SQUEEEZING BLOTTING AND DISCOUNTS

Follow through to make sure that you've done the job right. Follow through to say thank you and offer new ideas. Follow through to ask for more business. You earn respect by saying what you're prepared to do and then doing exactly that. Follow through shows that you are a person of your word and someone who cares. It shows that you are accessible and that you want to keep the lines of communication open. You may make mistakes and follow through gives you the opportunity to correct adn to learn from those mistakes. Personalize your follow up with handwritten notes and phones calls. I will get back to the business of Rodan and Fields, but I have to share this NOW. This morning I looked in the mirror and nearly freaked. Let me back up. I have been using REVERSE for my sun damage and brown spots, ANTI AGE for - well that's obvious, and I have even used SOOTHE because the sun damage has created some red spots - see picture. I decided to try UNBLEMISH on my nose because over the years I have developed large pores. Mind you, I really never had pores - what I mean is, they were so tiny I never noticed them. TIP #2 - DIVIDE AND CONQUER
A common denominator among the successful is that they are focused on the immediate accomplishment of specific objectives. Separate the important from the urgent and allow time for both. Break down any large task into a series of small tasks and start taking action. In the beginning, don't be too concerned with how you will achieve your goals. With commitment, research and patience, the means will come. Answers materialize when the facts have been collected. Your goals will evolve into a set of action-oriented objectives, which will become a series of to-dos.
Now prioritize. If you don't prioritize your days activities, everything is of equal importance. Whether one thing gets done or not doesn't matter. You want your activities to be important, to have had a clearly defined purpose. Write your to-do list every day. Prioritize it. Make at least one of your daily objectives a challenge. At the end of each day, you'll be able to relax and bask in that wonderful feeling of accomplishment.

TIP #1 - SET GOALS
Unless you shape your life, circumstances will shape it for you. You have to work, sacrifice, invest, and persist to get the results you want. Choose them well. You can't start your planning until you know where you want to go.
You are the sculptor of your own image. Have others already done what you want to do? Study them and do what they did. Start anywhere, at anytime, and persist. Stop worrying what others think about what you can or can't do. Believe in yourself and your abilities. Have the self-confidence to challenge your current situation. This is your life to live; its day by day and step by step.
Write down your goals. Only 3% of people have written goals and only 1% review those written goals daily. Be in that elite 1%. Visualize the attainment of your goals often. Goals are dreams with dates attached. You will only become as great and as happy as the goals you choose.
I will be posting thoughts on becoming successful at what you do. This is my first posting. I cannot take credit for most of the "thoughts" posted. When I know the author or source, I will post it. Otherwise, it is from my personal files and readings. This disclaimer will only be posted on this first "thought", but applies to all my postings.
